The 60323J is an open-style "Barrier" type fuse block. It is constructed from a rugged, glass-filled polycarbonate (GFPC) base that provides excellent dielectric strength and heat resistance. The "J" in the part number denotes its compatibility with Class J fuses, which are current-limiting and have a unique dimension to prevent the installation of non-current-limiting fuses. This model uses Pressure Plate terminals, which are ideal for secure, low-resistance connections with stranded copper wire.
